I think Genesect being legal in OU at the start of a metagame at this point is a recurring joke.
I mean, the thing is banned from fucking NATIONAL DEX OU.
They HAVE to know. It has to be a joke it keeps getting unbanned.
Ahh Genesect. My favorite steel type.
Still love the movie that introduced the extreme speed shiny version. Single handedly made banded Genesect go from excellent to ridiculous. Did not matter if others ran scarfers or revenge killers.
Also I need to say how much I enjoy the editing in these videos. Great job. It looks polished and follows your narration well.

I remember BW Dream World OU as one of the most fun metagames ever. Genesect, Shadow Tag Chandelure and Sand Rush Excadril may each be broken on their own, but they're kind of fine when you also allow the rest of them.
Throw in Darkrai, Deoxys-A, Ladorus-I, Shaymin-S, Speed Boost Blaziken, Mega Lucario, Mega Kangaskhan, Magearna, Garchomp, Soul Dew, Swift Swim, Baton Pass and everything else that has ever been tested in OU even briefly, and you'd have a proper OUBL metagame. Oh, and no-preview Zoroark too.
One day, my boi Genesect will be OU and it will suck.
I mean ANY Pokémon where you can change the typing almost at Will is broken. Genesect however has a move that turns into STAB and changes with the type.
OU council: "Yeah let's let Genesect down into OU again"
Genesect: "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN???"
I hope in the future a Pokémon Legends for Unova release and know how was Genesect originally.
If Genesect lore is not in scarlet and violet, I will cry 😭

I mean, people allowed PHEROMOSA for months in OU who is basically a fighting type Genesect. It's not all bad news though, since that mon made one of the most intriguing mons in OU popular: GALARIAN SLOWKING.
Why wasn't it just a starter in Uber/banned? I mean, if you do that for other Legendary like Kyogre and the like, why not this guy?

As an enjoyer of bug pokemon, Genesect is and has stayed my favorite legendary forever now
Genesect waiting on a new gen so it can be in OU for 3 and a half days before being banned again
I think it keeps being let into ou because of the memes. Obviously unhealthy, but it doesn't hurt to have a couple of days of fun before we eventually ban it

I know this is kinda odd but I have nowhere else to say this, I got randomly traded this genesect from the Pokémon movie 13 back in 2013, that has every single ribbon a player can have on it. It’s also shiny.

Ah yes, my favorite mythical and bug type Pokemon.
In general legendaries are broken compared to normal mons even compared to pseudo legendaries they are often better 😅 by stats, movepool or both… Ofc specific mon counter others but compare the best legendary with the best non legendary, and the worst legendary with the worst non legy😅 even if you compare some of the worst legy with one of the better non legys xD

I'm surprised you didn't mention it having Serene Grace as it's (not actually) Hidden Ability.
I wish you had shown it's stats (and comparison), abilities and moves at the start of the video. I dont know much about the competitive pokemon so these info would.be really useful!
