I hope you don't mind me commenting about the virus discrimination here before watching the rest of your video.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened with a Japanese restaurant in France (seriously, people are DISGUSTING), as I can only imagine how hurtful that would be to Japanese people especially, and those who have sense.

Also, the racist experience you shared from someone in the UK is so bad… I know I've said this so often on twitter already, but the discrimination towards Asians, and racists interchanging and 'insisting' that a Japanese is Chinese, or a Chinese is Korean etc. is such a cliche and stupid racist thing to do. That's happened to me and my sister too, along with the "what ARE you?" questions. This kind of public humiliation is horrible, and I really hope this person can move past it, though they have every right to be furious.

I also really hate to read that the bus driver simply said they were 'unlucky', and eventually the driver took them off the bus, INSTEAD of the racists??! like WTF! Although I really can't be surprised… It's a different situation, but the same attitude all the time when it comes to abusive people and how society still chooses to remove the one being attacked from a situation, rather than removing the abuser. This happened to me in a moshpit at a concert (when I was 20/21). A guy was constantly harassing/grabbing my bum, and I made sure to scream and shout and make as much noise as possible to make it known, what was happening. But what did security do when they found out? The "offered" to remove ME from the mosh pit (I was front row and one of my favourite band's concerts), NOT the abuser/predator. At the end of the night, the assholes threatened that "if I ever see you again, I'm going to KILL you". I saw his friend a few years later at another concert (didn't recognise me of course), and my entire body went cold, right before I had to photograph the concert too.

These situations are all beyond terrible, and unfortunately it's like, you kind of 'get used' to society and the world taking the side of the racist/abuser/bad guy, over the victim, and it sucks, y'know? I wish I didn't feel this way, but I don't think anything will change in my lifetime. And with this coronavirus scare, it's disgusting. Even seeing Asians turn against other Asians out of stereotypes, of ingrain fear due to propaganda in media, etc. We all need to stick together, and just hope that when these things happen, maybe someone will stand up for us (if it's safe to do so), and vice versa.

Also, I know this is very harsh to say, but strictly speaking, to combat the racists- it's like, generally speaking, Asians tend to be THE most considerate when it comes to being sick in public! They'd cover their mouths, wear a mask (even before this virus scare) etc. While at least for me, most of the Caucasians are the ones that cough with an open mouth, sneeze without a tissue, etc, so they're VERY hypocritical to make these disgusting jokes to us.

When I was in the UK mid last year on the train, I had a white man cough IN TO MY FACE. And when I got yelled at him for being disgusting and moved away, he then got mad at me. Seriously, what the hell!

(end rant. haha sorry Tonton, but I respect you for talking about this, and I hope you don't mind me still sharing my thoughts here with you too. Stay safe with family as always- back to the video!)
